- Choose a dedicated, secure, and discreet space.
- Ensure good ventilation and airflow.
- If needed, pick the tent that is best for your space.
- Lighting:
- Select appropriate grow lights (e.g., high-intensity discharge, LED, or T5 fluorescent).
- Use timers for consistent light cycles (18/6 for vegetative stage, 12/12 for flowering).
- Temperatare and Humidity:
- Maintain temperatures between 70-85°F (21-29°C) for different growth stages.
- Keep humidity levels around 40-60% for the vegetative stage and 40% or lower for flowering.
- Air Circulation:
- Use oscillating fans to ensure even air distribution.
- Avoid hot spots and stagnant air.
- Ventilation:
- Install an exhaust fan with a carbon filter to control odors.
- Use an intake fan to bring in fresh air.
- Nutrients and pH Levels:
- Invest in quality nutrients.
- Monitor and adjust pH levels (around 6.0 for soil and 5.5-6.5 for hydroponics).
- Growing Medium:
- Choose the appropriate medium (soil, hydroponics, or coco coir).
- Ensure proper drainage.
- Watering:
- Water consistently but avoid overwatering.
- Use filtered or dechlorinated water.

- Pest and Disease Prevention:
- Regularly inspect plants for pests and diseases.
- Use organic or chemical treatments as needed.
- pH and EC/PPM Meter:
- Use a pH meter and an EC/PPM meter to monitor nutrient solution strength.
- Monitoring and Automation:
- Invest in environmental monitoring systems.
- Consider automating lighting, watering, and ventilation.
- Security:
- Ensure your grow space is secure and private, if needed.
- Harvest Timing:
- Keep track of the flowering stage (usually 8-10 weeks) and harvest when trichomes are milky or amber.
